On December 2, 2020, from 4-5 p.m., George Mason University is hosting a Zoom event titled "Humanities Centers as Sites of Dissent." Global Arts + Humanities Faculty Director Wendy S. Hesford and Faculty Fellow Susan Van Pelt Petry will be on the panel along with Nicoletta Pireddu, inaugural director of the Georgetown Humanities Initiative, and Sylvester Johnson, founding director of Virginia Tech's Center for Humanities and Assistant Vice Provost for the Humanities.
