On Thursday, November 7, 2019, Nan Estad will visit Ohio State to give a talk: The Jim Crow Cigarette in China — An Intimate History of Corporate Imperialism. Estad is the Robin Edwards Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. They have been awarded the American Historical Association Albert J. Bevereidge Award for the best book published in 2018 on the history of the United States, Latin America or Canada from 1492 to the present. 

This event will begin at 4 p.m. in 311 Denney Hall. It is free and open to the public.
