2019-03-19 14:00:00 2019-03-19 17:00:00 Scanning the Future/s of Medical and Health Humanities and Arts at Ohio State Exploratory WorkshopPlease join us for a 3 hour-workshop designed to generate short-term and long-term action steps and proposals for how best to implement a new fund that the Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme has dedicated to the focus area of Medical and Health Humanities and Arts (MHHA).Workshop Goal-- Generative dialogue answering the following questions:How can MHHA further catalyze and integrate its already well-established core areas across the university?What are the gaps in coverage that should be seeded for growth?An initial scan funded by the Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme shows that Ohio State offers some of the most diverse and systematic programming in Medical and Health Humanities and Arts in the country, with at least 10 core areas in the College of Arts and Sciences and many others within The College of Medicine, the Wexner Center for the Arts, and more.
