Kara Komarnitsky (Dance) performed "Give Up to Keep Going." A dance major with minors in environmental science and business, Komarnitsky's work approaches the complexity of human interconnection with the planet, pulling inspiration from the natural world and environmental research. While her primary medium is dance, Komarnitsky regularly uses projections, film, sound and interactive technology to create immersive performance experiences, as well as extending this research into her teaching practices for yoga and dance. Corbin Lanker's (Earth Systems Sciences, Oceanographic and Marine Sciences)
research involved learning about the lives of Ohio farmers. To do so, they went into the homes and barns of three Ohio farmers and interviewed them about their lives, their communities and how farming is changing under their feet. The interviews were edited to create films that provide a snapshot into the lives of these Ohio farmers. Learn more about Lanker's project, Ohio Farmers: Struggles, Communities, Experiences

In the face of alarmingly declining Indigenous student population numbers, Arvcúken Noquisi's (Moving Image Production and Sonic Arts) research documents internal attempts by students to strengthen the Native community at The Ohio State University, and their assertions of self-determination and rejection of Ohio State's imposed extinction.
